MBA Overview
As part of the MMB/MBA concentration, I have completed four MBA courses. All of them required learning how to collaborate on cross-functional teams in both virtual and in-person environments.
MBA 585: Topics in Bioscience Management
MBA 585 explored past and current issues within the life science industry. The course featured guest speakers working for both start-up and large companies who shared their story of real-world challenges and solutions. Here is one my team projects where we researched and identified trends in clinical trials.
MBA 576/577: Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization I
MBA 576 and 577 provided a hands-on learning opportunity to learn how to develop a product from intellectual property. During MBA 576, the course teaches students how to take a technology and move it through the ideation phase, develop a value proposition, and determine strong technology-product-market linkages needed to successfully bring a product to market. In MBA 577, the product idea is developed further and students receive hands-on experience writing a business plan and learning how to deliver a business pitch.

Due to the fact that intellectual property was used, the materials developed during the class cannot be shared yet.
BUS 554: Project Management
Through BUS 554, I learned about risk management, change control, cost evaluations, and how to create a work breakdown structure to plan a project. The course featured several individual and teamwork projects to provide hands-on learning. One of the teamwork projects I completed was a product development scenario. Here is our final presentation of the project.
